Located in Soquel Village, Vinocruz Winebar + Kitchen focuses on the best of the Santa Cruz Mountains.  Enjoy over 50 local wines by the glass, craft beer on tap and yummy cider! Our award winning cuisine is all made fresh in-house with an emphasis on quality.

BARGETTO WINERY has produced hand-crafted wines in the Santa Cruz Mountains since 1933.We specialize in estate grown varietals from our Regan Estate Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains, overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay.  BARGETTO WINERY produces Pinot Noir, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and several Italian varietals. A Taste of Soquel specials include Rosé of Syrah, Dolcetto, and Pinot Grigio! 
Soquel Vineyards was established in 1987 when twin brothers Peter and Paul Bargetto, and their childhood friend Jon Morgan decided to develop their own label and ended up producing some of the best wines in the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation. Our three acre hillside vineyard (originally a part of a 52 acre parcel that was once owned by Peter and Paul’s grandfather) supplies the winery with Pinot Noir fruit, while the remainder is sourced from various vineyards from the Santa Cruz Mountains, Paso Robles and Napa Valley.

​ My father planted the vineyard in 1977.  The quality of his fruit was well known among local vintners and through the years he sold his grapes to various wineries in the area such as Soquel Vineyards, Byington, Vine Hill and Hallcrest. Through the authentic Italian experience of working with him (to this day… he is 94), and enjoying the myriad viticulture courses, with the help of wine makers George Guglielmo and Daniel Angelo we are making this dream come true.
Poetic Cellars is situated on 33 beautiful redwood-studded acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains, in the town of Soquel, near the historic wine-growing district of Vine Hill. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it enjoys a temperate climate that is an ideal location for growing the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that are planted on the hillsides.  Poetic Cellars is currently closed due to COVID.
